NEW CLASS FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS ON FRIDAYS
COME TO HAVE FUN WITH US! No partner needed. Course designed for absolute Beginners, or those with limited dance experience. Fee for the new classes: $12 per class or $60 per a six week series. Beginners Fee includes the cover charge for the dancing after (Friday Night of Tango).
Lesson: 7pm – 8pm
Friday Night of Tango: 8pm – 10pm ($5 – free to Beginners Class )

Located in the old Firestone Building just east of the Seagle Building at NW 3rd Street and University Ave. in downtown Gainesville. There is free parking on 3rd Street (which is one-way southbound) if you get there early enough. There are 8 angled slots against the brick wall on the east side. Also in the covered portico on the SE side of the building there are 10-15 slots. There are paid lots nearby. At this time a special low rate is available next door to the west in the Seagle Building lot for just $2 for the evening which we collect at the door and for which we give you receipt to place in your car window.
Now meeting EVERY Saturday night EXCEPT the first Saturday night of each month. So that’s the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Saturday of each month.
[NOTICE:] Beginning in January of 2012, Pavadita will only be held on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays at this same location.
8:00 p.m. Open practice music, set up, socializing.
9:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Milonga (traditional Argentine Tango dancing social).
DJ: Dubravko Kakarigi
$10.00 per person ($5.00 for minors & students with valid ID) No lesson, just social dancing from
9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. or later.
