Andrea holds a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Toronto, is a professor at the University of Florida. During her ballroom years, she seriously caught the ‘tango virus’ in her first trip to Buenos Aires in 2001, where she returns yearly for more. Since then she devotes herself completely to tango, has taught tango in Gainesville, FL since 2006. Andrea is occasionally a guest teacher in Ottawa, San Telmo, and Vietnam. Dance light and soft – lead and follow. Helps to control body weight in stillness or movement, reduce anticipation or stiffness, and improve balance and connection. |

Musicality and improvisation: “Fighting d’Arienzo”. Fight habits in lead and follow when dancing to rhythmic music, enhance ability to improvise. |

Safe and graceful voleos – technique: lead and follow. Low and front voleos that are safe on the floor yet elegant and musical. |

Brave into me & thou: combination of pivoting and assertive lead/follow. Timing, Energy and Precision. |

| 6:00 – 7:00pm | Asian Delight dinner & social time. Watch some C.I.T.A. (Congresso Internacional de Tango Argentino). |
| 7:00 – 10:00pm | Practilonga, games and prize (open only for Boot Camp participants). |
| 7 hours of lessons. Classes are designed for all levels. 5.5 hours of supervised practice and dancing. Dinner. | |
| Registration and Prices | Boot Camp Pass (ALL classes, practica and dinner) paid by 8/30: $80 ($100 after); $60 for full-time students pre-registered. |
| Thursday and Friday Classes + Practice: $15 each / $20 at door. | |
| Saturday and Sunday classes + Practice: $20 each / $25 at door | |
| Weekend only (classes and events on Sat and Sun): $55. | |
