Sunday Nights

Event: UF Argentine Tango Club

Beginner/Intermediate Tango Class

Reitz Union Basement on UF Campus

6:15pm | BEGINNERS
7:15pm | INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

Want to learn tango? Come join the UF Argentine Tango Club for a free beginner tango class! Feel free to join even if you’ve never danced tango before. There are teachers for whatever level you might be.

Who: Everyone is welcome! The beginner class is geared toward people who have never danced before or who want to practice the basics. The intermediate class is for those who have been to at least some classes. If you feel ready and confident enough to learn some new steps, this class is for you. The advanced class is for seasoned dancers and will feature more complicated steps, so ask a teacher to make sure you are experienced enough for this level.

Where: Dance Studio A, located in the basement of the Reitz Union.

What to wear: Bring a thick pair of socks to dance in. If you own a pair of salsa shoes or jazz/ballet flats, those work great too. Fancy shoes are not necessary.

Free and open to UF students and general public. No ID needed for this location.

(Not open during University breaks and finals week, but yes they are open during the summer semesters.)
