On November 24 we will have our ‘Grand Finale Last Ever’ Regional Pavadita as Elke and Dubravko start packing up to move to Berlin for their next big adventure next summer. Everyone thanks them for sponsoring nearly 75 milongas over the past 2 years in Gainesville. (Stay tuned for further announcements about tango in Gainesville.)
DJ ‘Train’: We will have several guest DJ’s each playing their 6 favorite tandas for about 1 hour each, back-to-back all night. Enjoy your favs played by Andrea, Gordon, Nick and David.
PRACTICA: 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm (informal, unstructured, lights up) Carlos Di Sarli music at 8:00 pm (folks are welcome to come in and hang out, dance, practice, chat – whatever). Any new people will get a free intro lesson so they can dance tonight.

UF Argentine Tango Club is quite excited to announce that John Erban & Clarissa Sanchez will be in Gainesville for a special night of tango!!!
John & Clarissa, the Sub Campeones of the World Tango Championships in Buenos Aires in 2011, travel the world dancing, teaching, and performing.
They are in Florida as part of their U.S. tour and will “stop by” Gainesville for an evening before a weekend of workshops in Tallahassee. Do not miss this opportunity to watch this very elegant and inspiring couple dance!!!

Andrea has been seriously devoted to tango since 2001 and has taught tango in Gainesville since 2006. Her regular training is mainly from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Nijmegen, Netherlands at prominent and influential schools. She dances as both leader and follower. As an instructor she emphasizes manner, fundamental techniques, connection and musicality. She teaches regular classes on Wednesday and Friday evenings, holds a practilonga on Friday evenings, 8-10pm at Papirusa Studio. Andrea is also a DJ.
Victor Crichton is known and loved by many in the wider region as a masterfully pedagogical teacher of the structure and fundamental techniques of Argentine Tango. His emphasis on precise technique, musicality, and improvisation is ideal for helping dancers significantly improve their social dancing skills.
